Still haven't done anything with the embroidery of Jesus yet. Anybody got any ideas?
I should make more of these miniature socks while waiting for my sewing machine. Or I could use this time to clean out my sewing area...

The tin family was left outside over winter (we're bad). Making a tinman would be something to do next weekend besides just tending the garden. Hey Jun! I've got an idea... |

Coolers made for soda/beer cans. (Pattern from ZigZag magazine.) |

First two quilts. The blue set has monogrammed pillow cases. The second one was done for our wedding. Each pillowcase is embroidered to make a complete set. |

Seasonal quilts. The "snowfriends" one is on hold until next winter. |

Some food covers. As long as the birds don't figure out how to remove the covers we'll be good. Notice what happens when you run out of the right colors right at the end of a project. Call it a fall project and explain that the leaves are just starting to turn color. |

Baby outfit made for Mark and Leah Varney's first child, Christopher.
Cake Mixes in a Jar. The "Wallies" (wallpaper designs) are great for decorating jars quickly. |

The Last Supper embroidered on my Designer 1 sewing machine. It took four files to complete it and 179 color changes.
An Easter Cross. The material around the edge is from an old nightgown and was very slippery to sew. |

What better way to protect stereo equipment from the "gifts" our birds like to leave behind.
Check out my designer magnets. These are Lou's Originals! |

These "e-dolls" are fun to sew. They are designed to be sewn on fleece, but I think they're just as cute on regular material. The bobbin thread is cut and then the hair is fluffed out. I like the effect. |

The parrot was a free download for the color picture stitch. I modified the design to remove the word "Polly" from the top. This project still needs to be completed.
The newest pillow made. |

I wanted to test all 7 colors of the "SolarActive" thread I bought. The shopping bag looks pretty bland until it's in sunlight, then all of the white areas change color dramatically. It was too windy to take the picture outside, and as you can see it takes a little while before the colors fade again. |

This is an eagle design I put on my jean skirt.
The doily was made on my sewing machine. I use this one for my coffee cup at work, hence the turned up edges. |
